I am a Product Designer in Boston. At the MBTA, I write, design, and build online forms for riders applying for reduced fares programs.
I test products with users and find actionable recommendations for modifying products to meet user needs.
This Agile process uses iterative design and research to create a rapidly-developed product.
I use Python, R, Tableau, and Excel to craft stories from data.
I use WCAG guidelines to create inclusive websites that benefit all users.
Drawing on my English degree and UX principles, I write content that's easy to read and understand.
I earned my M.S. in Library and Information Science at Syracuse University where I studied user experience, project management, and data science. I bring these skills to the MBTA, where I work with a team to create accessible, intuitive online forms for people applying for reduced fares programs.
I previously worked as a user interface specialist for Cornell University, where I led usability testing, analyzed usage metric data, and standardized content.
Outside of research, I'm passionate about helping vulnerable populations and food security. I am a volunteer leader with the Boston Food Pantry, and volunteer on a weekly basis with the Friday Night Supper program and the largest day shelter in New England.
